Hello, we are desperate about this issue. We've been using Easyblog for years and this hasn't happened to us before, and after it's happened to us 3 times we already think it's some kind of bug. The thing is that when a user with the role of "administrator" uploads a new video within a content will delete .MP4 files automatically... we have tried to reproduce the error but we can't because apparently it doesn't happen always, or there is something in the browser of that user that affects... BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW!

I don't know if something similar has happened to you before or by saying this I give you some hints. They always update from the backend.

Thank you
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

The thing is that when a user with the role of "administrator" uploads a new video within a content will delete .MP4 files automatically...

Do you mean that system will randomly delete one of the mp4 video when the user upload one of the video into the blog content?

e.g. user upload one internal video into video block - screenshot : https://monosnap.com/file/1RfTFmUPPwAPjksbTSZbsD03VuE7b9

By the way, do you have multiples blogger update the blog post at the same time?

The problem is that when another manager uploads a new video to the folder or folders (because it has already happened to us in 2 folders) some of the previous .MP4s disappear. We have asked the server with the LOGS, and they assure us that neither by FTP nor SSH have been erased, so we have Easyblog .

We don't have several bloggers updating the same post.

Hey there,

If I understand you correctly, you mean that when someone uploads a new video into the media, the existing video will be deleted?

If yes, can you take a look on my video if I test it correctly https://take.ms/sHvPU as it is working fine for me here.

Am I missing anything?

If no, can you provide us with a video on how to test this correctly step by step so that we can have a better look of it?

Hello, you understood it well, but with our user it never happens. It is with the user gestionelements@gmail.com with multi-role.

Hey there,

I just tried with a user with multiple user groups on my local and it is working fine for me here.

Is it possible for you to share us with the access of user gestionelements@gmail.com so that we can give it a try and have a check and see how it goes?
