Hi all.
During some testing on my website using Articles, it posted quite a few stream items saying I was reading the article. I decided to abandon the way I was trying to achieve what I was testing, and didn't want those stream items appearing. So I deleted them from the backend system.
However, these stream items are still appearing. I've even tried logging in to the front end as admin and deleting them, but their still showing up.
So my question is, how can I delete these unwanted stream items from the website so nobody can see them.
Thanks
Dave
Hi Dave,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, I've applied a fix on your site and now those 'trashed' stream items no longer appear in your EasySocial frontpage. The fix will be added into next release of EasySocial as well

So my question is, how can I delete these unwanted stream items from the website so nobody can see them.

There are two ways of delete unwanted stream items from your EasySocial.

1. Delete stream items from EasySocial backend under stream management. To do this, do to EasySocial backend stream management and select the stream you want to delete. Once selected, click on the 'Trash' button. This action will 'unpublish' the stream items from your EasySocial. To delete permanently these trashed items, in the same page, filter the status with 'trashed' and select the trashed items from the list and click 'purge' button. Please see http://screencast.com/t/U8cBpOqUx4Pl

2. Login to EasySocial frontpage as site admin and you should see the delete option from each stream. Please see http://screencast.com/t/Gq5zis3qUDR

Hope this help and have a nice day
