This padding is actually added by your Joomla template as you can see here, http://take.ms/UnkEE . I am not too sure if it is ideal to remove the padding on this element as it would affect the rest of your pages.

Perhaps what you could try to do is this:

padding-top: 0;
}

I would suggest that you check with the template provider for a better solution
