Default site URL

For some reason, I have set the default site menu item alias to /companies and I do not know how to remove that

When the user logins, he is driven to /companies when logs out the same too!

How can I fix that?

Menu aliases are retrieved from Joomla menus (If you are not using any 3rd party extension). You will need to change the alias from your list of menus.

Yes I know that. I was asking if EasySocial sets a default logout URL redirection.

You can change the logout redirection from your backend > easysocial > settings > users > authentication > logout redirection, http://screencast.com/t/VAve1rJKK .
