hello - I would like to restrict access to the default easyblog category, by stopping registered users from having permissions to create posts. I tried this via the category permissions, but it doesn't allow me to. Issue I have is that I only want registered users to see one category to quick post to and not see the default. How can I do this to stop registered users seeing it?? Just want one category, one choice.

thanks Pete
Hi there,

Currently, that how it should as it is required one category in order to create a blog post, and those categories are default category.

But i would advice you another workaround, that is by making those category that available for registered user, as default and make other categories not view able by registered user.

Please advice.

It sounds so obvious now you wrote that! Didn't realise you could switch the default category. Simple fix :-)
