We user the blog as a "newsletter' type situation, and the different users only have access to their own category to post to.
However, i have to keep 1 "default" category open for the whole site, and then, whenever they create a new post, they have to choose their category and uncheck the "DO NOT USE" category.
It would be much easier if I could just remove the DO NOT USE , and set a default for each user instead (as an option).
Having to keep a category there just to have it set as the default is adding extra step which is often done incorrectly, into what should be a seamless process.
Thanks
