Hi. I am forced to post again this issue. This problem happens sometimes. I don't know what happens and i cannot reproduce it exactly because as i told you the issue happens sometimes.
If i edit a post (usually i edit a scheduled post not published yet) i see that the default category is selected but i assigned that post to other category. So i see the post edited assigned to 2 categories, the correct category and the default too. I don't know what cause it but something assign the default category on edit post sometimes.
Best regards
To fix the scheduled issue, download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/composer/

I have just tested this locally and I cannot reproduce this. This is what I did,

1. Set the default category to "Uncategorized"
2. Create a new category called "test"
3. Create a new blog post and de-select "Uncategorized"
4. Selected "test" as the primary category
5. Clicked on the button "Apply"
6. Closed the window.
7. Accessed the blogs from the dashboard, and edited the post. This is what is showing for me, http://screencast.com/t/JBkEGvHbLyb

We need a way to reproduce this because without being able to reproduce the issue, it's almost impossible to fix it.

I can tell you when it happens. Right now i tested it and i got the issue again. I access to a scheduled post just adding a term and i click on save. I see the category added only when i see the blog list. Now i get the issue always with a post, if you want you can try too.

1. I have no idea how to reproduce this.
2. Please edit your first post and include the necessary site admin and ftp access
3. Please provide the steps taken to reproduce this and which post you want me to test on.

Okay, managed to replicate this locally! It looks like this only happens if I do it from the back end. Will log this into our issue tracker.
