There is no way to turn off the EasyBlog templates design as some of the elements in our component required additional and specific styling. But we have a lot of display option in EasyBlog which you can configure it here:

Joomla Backend > Components > EasyBlog > Settings

There is a lot of options that can be configured that I believed that can meet your requirements.

If there is unavailable options or you need some customised blog display, please let us know. Our support will guide and help you to achieve this.
