Can you provide some screenshots as to where you would like to hide the blogger?

For example, for the frontpage, you can disable the post author at the view settings for 'Frontpage': http://take.ms/zqIkp

In this list there are the bloggers shown, and I want to deactivate some of them .. best would be to deactivate the whole list. We only provide company news and for this, it is better not to show the person behind. As sometimes the person in the marketing changes. But they need to have different Joomla accounts with their own name (because of other rights and permissions)

If you do not want to let any other users view the list, you can create a menu item in Joomla for the author listing and set the access to super user access: http://take.ms/l9GnI
