I've been thinking about suggesting something similar but based on Workflows. Where you can set up search workflows to set a basic search or an advanced search workflow and any number of search workflows using custom fields with the ability to multi select different values and have a Max - Min for numeric values that could be used in fields for height, age etc.

The advanced search is very powerful but also very time consuming as it is. The ability to just tick a few boxes and select from dropdown boxes and slide sliders is far easier for the average user on a mobile phone.

This could also be stored in a database so when returning, the previous selections are pre selected.

Can I add to that the ability for a User to check a box that only allows contact from other users who meet that criteria
