Dashboard Stream does not respect "Group - Groups" App Preferences

When you modify the stream preferences in the "Group - Groups" app (such as "Display Join Group Stream" or "Display Update Group Stream"), nothing changes in the Dashboard stream... But it works fine for the streams in the groups.

You mean all the stream items in Dashboard come form User apps, and never from Group apps or Event apps? Now I understand better.

"User - App name" is a good name, since the app first defines what should be displayed in the Profile stream. Administrators (like me ) just have to be aware that the Stream preferences in the User app will also apply to the Dashboard stream.

And everything is fine

Oh OK, I got it: these stream items in Dashboard do not come from the "Group - Groups" app, but from the "User - Groups" app. So if I don't want "Update Group" activities in the Dashboard, I must disable them on Profile stream...

In fact what is missing is something like a "Dashboard - Groups" app

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

All the apps that are related with the dashboard view is named "User - App name". Perhaps we can take this suggestion and rename the apps that associate with the dashboard with "dashboard - app". By the way thanks for the heads up
