Hello Everyone,

ı have two profiles in EasySocial.
Profile 1) is 'Kayıtlı Kullanıcı' and is located in joomla usergroup 'Registered'.
Profile 2) is 'Ön Sayfa Yazarı' aand is located in joomla usergroup 'Author'.

İn EasyBlog ACL settings I disabled 'Profile 1 (Joomla ACL Registered) to post on front page
and enabled Profile 2 (Author) to post on frontpage.

When loggin in as registered I don't see the button for frontpage in composer. That's fine. But though there ıs no button for frontpage The post a 'Regıstered' creates appears on frontpage.

How can I solve thıs?

I only want Profile 2 (JoomlaGroup Authors) to be able to post on frontpage.

Can u help me pls?

Best regards AND TNX İN ADVANCE,

Alp
Hi Alp,
Actually the blog ACL option Change Frontpage Contributions basically determines whether the user is allowed to choose whether to show the post on the frontpage.
When you disable this ACL setting, even though the option is hidden in the composer, the post will still be published based on the default options in Settings>General>General>Default Options(http://take.ms/PJFgI).
You can change the default frontpage option to No to prevent blog posts being posted to the frontpage by default.
Once you do this, Profile 2 would have to set the option to Yes while composing if they want to publish the post on the frontpage.

tnx,

please consider allowing different front page post rights for different profile for further updates.
Think it would be a good idea.

Best regards,

Alp

Based on what I know so far only you are the first person requested this, if you do not mind I can change this thread category to "Easyblog - Feature request" category so we will see if there a lot of user want this feature as well, we will definitely consider this.
