Is there a way of editing the comment editor toolbar such as removing some items (emoticons) ?
Hello Gilles,

You can modify it in this file ../components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/comments/default.js and you need to recompile the js file by running this: http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1§ion=site . Change 'yoursite' to your own domain name.

Thanks Nik,
However, this is a workaround, not a solution as it will get overridden with updates. Even if it could be done via an template override, not the better solution. I was hoping for a simple switch(es) in the config settings.

For a business-type or more formal website, these emoticons are out of place and make the site look childish.
