We updated our site to 1.4 and now our custom template ceases to function correctly, we love all the new features but we need to work on a custom template that will support them in a test environment first. So we need to restore the old template for now, the way I understand it is that you have changed the wireframe template and this is why things are no longer working as they did before, would I be correct in saying that if I restore the old wireframe template that we should get functionality back?
Hi Julz,

No, you have to custom the new Wireframe template for your template overwrite.

Please advice.

Well I have to say this is very disappointing news, we feel that in no way were we warned that this update would ruin our site template, did it not occur to your devs that ES users may want to have the new functionality and keep their custom templates? Oh well I guess it gives us a chance to fix all the CSS errors in your template, this a a black mark against an otherwise spotless record

We have leaned a very important lesson with this and that is never to install an ES update again in future without proper testing first, I will now go and apologies to our users for this mess.

Hi Julz,

To be frank with you, in EasySocial 1.4.1, we actually changed quite abit of the html structure and most of the css selectors as well as some jquery selectors are now based on the new structure, hence you will need to re-apply your changes in your template overriding based on the new wireframe theme.

I apologise for any inconveniences that may have caused to you.

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam
