Hi,

I notice after testing the custom streams they don't work as intended.

If i select my "Test" stream i created and then in the Share Whats New box i type a message out when the "test" stream is active without using the hash for example:

Hi this is the new test stream

I share it and the item is not longer there when i re-visit the custom stream link.

Can these custom streams not be used without using hash tags?

Regards
Hello Alex,

In order to be able to retrieve specific streams, it needs to search based on the content

Hello Alex,

Sorry but I am actually a little lost here. Can you please elaborate further on this? The "custom stream filter" is actually linked to hash tags. Without a hash tag, it doesn't allow you to filter the stream items although it would be a good idea if we could have "extended filters" which allows you to filter stream by radius.

Hi Mark,

I think this could be confusing for users to know they are only hash tag filters and not stream filters.

I think i have misunderstood what the custom stream items are, so to be clear you cant create a custom stream for example:

CSS
HTML
JS
Jquery

then filter each one so users can get the latest content on that stream without using hash tags.

I think this is a totally new feature im requesting HAHA.

FEATURE REQUEST|: I think that would be a great new feature to have. Filterable streams without hash tags.

Regards
Alex

Hello Alex,

It's quite heavy to actually filter / search by text because some of the stream does not have any contents (It is only populated when the app kicks in). Searching "quickly" will be almost close to impossible

Hi Mark,

Not search the stream but just have a list on the left hand side that are unique so you could for example have the following:

Updates
News
Important Staff Updates

So then each stream has a unique stream with unique content per the above example list.
