I would like to create a custom points rule file to give points/remove points when a member Likes/Unlikes a post. In addition is it also possible to give/remove points to the original poster when a post is "liked/unliked" by others.

Thanks for your guidance.
You will need to do 2 things:

1. Create the points rule file and scan it from the back end of EasySocial's points section. See http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/developers/points/rule-file

2. Add your hacks into the codes to insert the points for your custom rule when the action that you want is triggered. This requires code modifications. See http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/developers/points/logging

Thank you for your direction Mark, I will investigate this. In my case there will be situations where I don't have the time to create this, in addition we will have other customizations in the future. Would you recommend someone to us that can handle customizations like this on a case by case basis that we could pay for per customization?

For this instance we are specifically looking for a Like/Unlike points modification that gives the points back to the original poster.
