When new custom fields are added they are placed first instead of last. That leads to clicking the up/down arrows to change the order, which is frustrating and time-consuming. Please make re-ordering faster by dragging or entering the order number.

we will see if there a lot of users who votes for this, the team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.
This is so frustrating. I cannot sort the order of custom fields when adding a new option. I have to delete everything below the new option just to place it in alphabetical order. This should not be a feature but a core function. Please do something about this.
