Is it possible (or will it be) to add hypertext to custom field data (attached)

Thanks.
As long as the field is set to "Searchable" and it is a text field, it will automatically be an hyperlink

Actually what I meant was to assign a link (url) to the value of the custom field. so, in the case of the image I attached you could click on the backpack type/name and it would link to..let's say amazon.com

I am sorry but unfortunately this is not possible at this point of time unless you use the "URL" field.

Can I rig something with the html field?

If you enable the html field, you can place html codes in it, so I guess it's up to you.
