Hello! I have some problems with custom fields..
If in the custom field settings I choose to display only in a certain category, then when I add an article as an regular user in the front-end, this field is not displayed .. but when editing an already created article, this field is displayed. if you log in as an administrator, the fields appear both there and there .. please help!
Hey there,

Can you please edit your first post at the top and include the following access please?

- Site Admin access (Please ensure that the user has super admin access)

- FTP access (We need this because if we use a file manager in Joomla, there are times where we have a typo and this might eventually break your entire back end and front end for instance if we are editing a system plugin). There is no way to save the site unless we have the ftp access.

Hi there,

It seems that you have made some modifications at this files components/com_easyarticles/themes/wireframe/composer/default as you can see here http://take.ms/HSTTh

Can you revise those codes again as right now, as current, your categories selections are no showing on your composer end. I tried to remove them and it seems to work just fine. Please advice.

Thank you very much! I did not think that it could be connected with this ..
Is there any way to hide the block (category - user - privacy) from the user?
Tell me please how can I override the template of this file?

And I still have one question.
How do I make the easyarticles dashboard and composer pages appear inside my joomla template, as it happens with regular components? I read a lot of documentation, but I still do not understand what, and what files need to be changed.

If you just want to appear these selection for site admin, maybe you can check my attached screenshot below and see if this could help much you here.

Unfortunately that is not possible to appear inside your Joomla template, you might need to customise a lot of thing in order to achieve this.

Hi there,

Currently it is not possible to do template override on Easyarticles.

Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of Easyarticles if there are more people request on this.
