custom field search

Hi everybody,

First of all, i want to thank the easysocial developpers for this useful component.

I have a question : is it possible to search easyocial users with custom field directly in the Simple search engine ?

The simple search engine seems to work only with name field.
Hey there,

Unfortunately right now it's not possible to search for custom fields on the toolbar's search. It's too complex and it's going to be extremely heavy for Finder.

Thank your for your reply .

I think it's an important feature to search by integrating custom fields especially for the social network , as people may not know the person and would find them by keywords. The advanced search engine is good but is binding for a user.


Maybe your team has planned to develop it?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Thank you for your suggestion however we do not have any plan to improving the search feature yet currently. I believe it is best for your to post your idea inside easysocial voice page here, http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial so that other people can vote for it.
