Custom Field Not Saving

Hi,

We have set up some custom fields on our site at http://demonew.online-communities.org/ and have a couple of questions.

1. For User Fullname we have the name format as single name but cannot select that for the store format so end up with four fields created in the database - should we simply use a textbox instead?

2. Username has "moderator" in the textbox - can we remove this so we get a message during registration saying it is already in use.

3. The username doesn't appear to be saved when entered during registration

We have included the credentials for the site.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

1. For User Fullname we have the name format as single name but cannot select that for the store format so end up with four fields created in the database - should we simply use a textbox instead?

Unfortunately that was not possible to replace with Joomla user full name field to text field.


2. Username has "moderator" in the textbox - can we remove this so we get a message during registration saying it is already in use.

Actually we have checking for this if the new user insert their username already existed in your site.
