Prior to EasySocial 2.1, you need to add the field in each profile type and it is painfully slow With the new workflows in 2.1, you can just define a single standard workflow that can be used by all your profile types.

This way, when you make changes on a single workflow, all the profile types would inherit from the workflow.

Having said that, you might notice that when upgrading from 2.0 to 2.1, the system automatically creates a new workflow for each profile type because there isn't any way for us to distinguish, if each profile type uses the same workflow.
