Good day,
I would like to modify the template of EasySocial. As I can see, EasySocial's minified style.css was created from the less files. But the less files, which we have, are outdated and incomplete. Can I find the most recent less files somewhere, or maybe you can send them to me?
Thank you in advance
Hi Walter,

I believe you referring to EasySocial theme yes? May I know which less file that are you referring to?

All of them. Is that possible? I would like to change some things like colors, spacing, borders. Without "less" files i have to override each css rule manually. However as I've seen, you've defined colors, borders, etc. in variables.less. But I could not compile these files because of errors.

Hi Walter,

Ah I see, actually, we not really recommend users to alter CSS/less in the core file, as the concern about the file will be overridden as you update the component, where it might require more works and troublesome to re-apply it back.

As you apply the custom css in settings (themes>custom css) you no need to re-apply it once you update EasySocial to the latest version.

I understand that it can cause problems in the future. But it would be better, if we had more control over the template. However, thank you for the answer and have a nice day!

Sorry for reopening the issue
I just now wanted to make gray borders a bit darker everywhere on the site (at the moment it's in color #e1e1e1). And I searched in the style.min.css: there are 282 places where this color was used. I do not think that it is possible to solve my problem with css overrides.
The only one solution I can find is editing Less sources. Or is there another solution?
Thanks

Hi Walter,

In latest Easysocial, we no longer provide less file in the installer package (one of the reason is to minimize the installer size).
Where it compresses on the fly, and user will always use the compressed css file (style.min.css)
I'm afraid to say that the only way to do this is by making css override.
