Hi am doing css&js compressions
Pls advise which scripts of easydiscuss & Easyblog do not need to minified and essential
I have identified - 3
/media/com_easydiscuss/scripts/site/easydiscuss-5.0.11.js
/media/com_easyblog/scripts/site-6.0.10-basic.min.js
/media/foundry/scripts/core.min.js

am sure there will be scripts for comments too, as while tetsing in wamp comments not getting submitted while minifying all. Pls advise which scripts you do not recommend to minify or compress in both eb & ed
thanks
The Easyblog and Easydiscuss extension Javascript and CSS stylesheet are already compressed.

And yes, you can try to compress all these into your site 3rd party compression and see if everything work fine. Because we do not know which existing javascript and CSS stylesheet will conflict with it if everything compresses together with your 3rd party Javascript and CSS stylesheet.

Do you mean that you can't even add a new comment on the blog entry page?

If yes, these are the files you already excluded. I am afraid that your compression will compress those inline Javascript on the page as well.

Can you open your browser development console tool and then click on the console tab and see what error it shows?
