hey guys, just wondering if any of the changes in the 5.25 update would or could impact how the CSS works on my site. Since the update, I seem to have a delay in the CSS being applied to the site by about a second or two any time I change page since 90% of the pages are easy blog articles I wondered if there was a clash somewhere.
Hi John,

For EasyBlog 5.2.5 we only do some changes for wireframe's toolbar, I'm not really sure if you're using the class used by the toolbar, it might effect your custom css. By the way, may I know which css that clash to your custom css?
Perhaps, we can give you another workaround for the css code applied

Hi Muhammud, I'm sorry I really don't know, that side of thing is not something I know about so I'm just trying to work through what could be causing the issue. The only thing I know has changed is easyblog but obviously that could just be a co-incidence. It must be something linked with my base template

Hi John,

May I know the issue that you mention above is it display as it is after the page fully load? Because as I access the pages seems it load correctly: http://take.ms/bcXcy

Hi there, yes it loads correctly eventually but there is about a 2 second delay where it shows that black screen before resolving, it didn't do that prior to the 5.25 update.

The css changes on EasyBlog should not cause such issues. Did you recently installed any compression or optimization plugin? Because from the looks of it, it seems like there are some scripts or plugins that are trying to defer stylesheets from rendering.

Hi Mark, thanks, not I haven't but will go back through. I was just keen to check if the update would have done anything, if not then I'll keep digging! Cheers John
