I've seen a number of people post about different template themes being available for EasySocial. Mark has informed people that some new template themes are in development. If we want more template themes sooner than StackIdeas Team can create them, we have to come up with a strategy to get other developers to take on the challenge and task. Money is usually the BEST MOTIVATOR.

TEMPLATE THEMES
I am willing to put up $20 USD and put out a crowdsource challenge to get other people to add their crowdsource $$ offers to get some 3rd party developers to take on the task to create more matching templates themes for EasySocial, EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss. There must be a way to encourage some template developer(s) to take up this challenge.

This is just an idea right now, but maybe others have some suggestions. ????? What type of themes? How long would they take to develop them? Who would get access to them? etc?

Add your thoughts on this.
That is an interesting idea Randall. If that doesn't work out possible it could be nice if there was an easy way for developers who have created matching templates themes to be able to show them off in some sort of marketplace.

Possibly Stack-Ideas could take some percentage of the market place sales as an incentive to build it. :-)

Yeah, there definitely should be a template and addon directory on stackideas.com that features third party templates, components, modules and plugins that integrate with EasySocial... a bit like JomSocial has on their site.

Hello Jannik,

We actually have the apps directory already at http://stackideas.com/apps/ but it's still in beta

I wonder if the apps site could be expanded to also include templates?
