Hi,
i've read the documentation about Cronjobs but I have not yet understood what is it.
Actually i have not set Cronojobs but however emails are sent to newsletter subscribers.
Can you explain better why and how i should use Cronjobs?

Best regards
Hi Remigio Ibisco,

Firstly let me explain you about what is basically cronjob is all about:
->Cronjob is a schedule command/task that is executed on your server to run automatically at a specified time and date. A cron job is the scheduled task itself. Cron jobs can be very useful to automate repetitive tasks.

What is cronjob do in EasyBlog?:
->In EasyBlog, cronjob is required to fetch emails, send emails, retrieve new tweets as blog and even import feeds remotely.
->Cronjobs allows email processing to run at the back end while not interfering with the site operations.

What kind of cronjob can be use?
->CPanel Cronjob Setup or
->DirectAdmin Cronjob Setup or
->SSH Cronjob Setup or
->Plesk Cronjob Setup or
->EasyCron Cronjob Setup

How to set up them?
CPanel Cronjob Setup
DirectAdmin Cronjob Setup
SSH Cronjob Setup
Plesk Cronjob Setup
EasyCron Cronjob Setup

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you require any further assistance

1) So Cronjobs only optimizes the process of emails? But the sending of the email works without Cronjobs?
2) You recommend me to use it for sending the newsletter?
3) CronJobs and Mailchimp can be used together?Or Mailchimp is used only for advertising campaigns and not for sending newsletters?

Thanks for having clarified the ideas

Regards

2) You recommend me to use it for sending the newsletter?

Yes, because task that is executed on your server to run automatically at a specified time and date.

I don't really get what you mean here?. Yes, Mailchimp actually used only for advertising campaigns and not for sending newsletter which is what is cronjob is all about.
