I have this Cron configured to run every 10 minutes:

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null 'https://www.checkyourbaggage.net/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron'

It returns this success message in my access log:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [28/Jun/2022:14:10:01 -0700] "GET /index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron HTTP/1.1" 200 5254 "-" "Wget/1.19.4 (linux-gnu)"

I am not getting notifications.
Hi Lynn,

I checked the email activity section and I see some reply moderation emails generated for moderators(attached). Are these the emails you are referring to? If yes, are you saying the email is generated in the email activities section but never sent to the real email address?

Exactly.

I get Joomla test emails from the Global Configuration >> Server >> Mail Settings.

But I'm not getting any of those I should get according to the settings on:
Categories >>Category >> Moderator Assignment
Categories >>Category >> General >> Notifications
Or those who are subscribed to posts on the front end.

I have checked spam and trash folders and my client has as well.

Hey Lynn,

I tried registering on the site and reply in a discussion. I received the email when the reply is approved(attached). The email was sent to my spam folder.

From what I checked EasyDiscuss is generating the email in the email activity section just fine. If the email does not reach the real email address, you will have to get someone to look at the mail server, perhaps the webhosting provider. Maybe there is some kind of filter in place, or maybe the email was not sent out due to some other reason.
