Hi,

I have posted about this issue before in the past few days, and Mark has taken the time and trouble to offer various suggestions, some of which I was unable to respond to directly within the forum, but only by email.

Nonetheless, the cronjob command of - wget https://imdren.com/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron does NOT produce anything frontend, despite it running correctly every 5 minutes, and emails correctly sent to the specified email address of forums@imdren.com.

Is there anything else I should be doing or checking because I have run out of ideas?
Hello William,

Are you saying that the e-mails are not being picked up by the e-mail parser in EasyDiscuss? Would it be possible for you to provide us with the access and FTP access to the site so that we can take a look at this issue for you?

Hello William,

Thanks for getting back to me! Can you please edit your initial post and include the site and ftp access under the site details section, https://take.ms/xpzOI ? It's much safer than sending it over to me because it will be encrypted.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you provided that backend login credentials no longer work, this is what I hitting now :

Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Also can you check with your webhosting provider is there a way do not generate those cronjob log file into your JoomlaFolder?

Arlex,

Thank you for trying to have a look at this for me, I'm not sure why the access details I gave you didn't work but I will look at that later this morning. I'm going to postpone my attempts to try and find a solution for the time being as I am already devoting too much time to this issue when I can be develop other areas of the site.

Also there are more important things to do, like trying to find a supermarket that actually has food on it's shelves, as I am beginning to run low on things.

I really do appreciate the assistance you have given me, but I am going to put this 'on hold' until next week.

Under the present circumstances, enjoy the rest of your weekend, and once again, thank you.

Best wishes

William
