Hi guys,

I just migrated my site to a new host. Now I'm getting a lot of "return to sender" emails (because I'm the admin) and I think my crons are not working. My questions: 1) what crons are needed to make site communication / notifications run properly? 2) How do I test if my crons are working?

Sorry, I looked through the documentation but I couldn't find these answers.

Thanks a lot,

James
Hey James,

To create a cronjob, please refer to the guide at http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/cronjobs/cpanel-cronjobs

To test if your cron is working correctly, in cpanel there is an option to allow it to send email when a cron is processed. You might want to set your email there

By the way, please remember to assign your domain to your license to obtain for support in the future. You can do so by accessing your license area at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Thanks Mark. I have added the domain to my dashboard.

I guess my question is: how do I know what cronjobs I need? Sorry for such a basic question! I assume I need one to process new user activations and one to send notifications of activity (e.g. to all members of a group). Is that right?

Thank you!

James
