Hello,
First, thank you for providing such a useful blogging product. I have used it for a few years and am happy with it.
I have a technical question. I would like to try to get away from using wget for cron jobs if possible - and then block wget with my .htaccess file for security concerns.
However, EasyBlog's cron setup uses wget. Is there a recommended way to run the cron jobs without wget?
Thank you,
Ari
Hi Ari,

Perhaps you can try using php command
Refer this documentation: https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/cronjobs/plesk-setup

I have instead just removed the wget, and have Cron calling it as just an html page. Now I can filter and block the wget agent using my htaccess file for added security.
Thanks,
Ari
