Hi there Dan,

Can you provide us with your back-end, FTP as well as cpanel access? This will allow us to look into the issue further.

hey Dan,

I've checked from your feed importer configuration for "DJ Smallz", it seems like that RSS feed URL is not correct.

For this http://www.djsmallz.com/ is it from the K2 component ? If yes, is it can get your frontpage RSS feed URL then configure into your Easyblog feed importer setting?

Example RSS feed URL for Easyblog : http://demo.stackideas.com/?format=feed&type=rss

The feed URL format should be show this kind of content.

Sorry Mr.Wong
Reading your comment and clicking on your link totally confuses me.
clicking on your link looks like a
(View page source)

For your feed importer to work
1). What of kind of website can i grab feeds from?
2). Do you have any examples on other websites that are using your feed importer?

1) And here is a image of my feed importer coming from your website
I have it set up so it should be in my (Rnb Artists) Category
nothing is showing

2) My hosting provider set-up my cron job and is correct and running
(Image attached)

##could you please:
go into my backend and set up your easy blog (Blog)
and have it go to my Rnb Artists category, to test?

Maybe i'm not correctly setting it up right in my feed importer
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan,

It okay, hope this time my explanation will help much you here.

Based on your screenshot, these RSS feed URL is not correct,
the feed importer do not know how to process is because the RSS feed importer can read the syntax of Atom or RSS format.

For example : http://demo.stackideas.com/?format=feed&type=rss (try open this link into Firefore browser)

You will notice that will shown a listing of blog content.

By the way, I already tried to import one feed from our demo blog into your site, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

If you would like to import these blog from this site -> http://www.djsmallz.com/ , you have to consult with that site owner is it got RSS feed format URL available in his site?

Hey Dan,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you provide us some screenshot regarding this which you referring?

Yes, but the standard importer get the standard format xml content then it can import the data from that URL.

The RSS feed is for any Feed Importer out there to retrieve the data.
For example, you can see the demo.stackideas.com has all the blog posts but, this format of data cannot be retrieved by the Feed Importer. Hence, we have created another view with a different format. This is where the demo.stackideas.com/?format=feed&type=rss comes. If you view this page in Chrome, you can see the XML formatted content which is the global format for any feed importer.
