Hi,

I have set up a cron job and tested yet ES seems not to be sending emails. The admin is showing all emails pending.

Any ideas?

Regards
Alex
Hi,

It seems like for your case, you have set the settings in Joomla to use PHP Mailer, and in the cron, your server is returning an error from the PHP mailer that states "could not instantiate mail function".

You will have to consult your hosting provider if PHP mailer is available on your host.

Hi,

Could you advise how did you set up your cron job? You can refer to our documentation on this. http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/cronjobs/cronjobs

Hi there,

I followed the guide as per your docs!

Step one set up a secret key in the Joomla admin then pasted the link that was produced into the command line in Cpanel.

The cron job is working in Cpanel but it is not sending the ES emails.
