It is clear that you have found the rot cause of th eproblem and have partially fix it ... much appreciated.

However I still experience a problem: when I send an email ot the avaries@dupont-sailing.info email address I do see the automatic posting of a new discussion (that's great) but the title is not the content of my email but the Cron command script.

If you look to my website at this address (http://dupont-sailing.info/index.php/avaries) you can see that the last posting (Cron wget -O /dev/null 2>&1 "http://dupont-sailing.info/index.php?option=com_easydiscuss&task=cron" does not match with the content of the email I sent (which was : Pb with virtual boat (testing) )

Any idea what the reason can be when I see your own tests having been successful earlier today

Maybe just now that was my test post, also it seems like you have set 30 minute process 5 email when automatically run the cron command, i have help you set 30 minute, then i have help you set 10minute process 20 email.

I just noticed however that when accessing that page http://dupont-sailing.info/index.php/liste-des-avaries the site displays a warning message :

which translated into English would be something like :
Warning
JUser::_load : impossible to load user with ID 679

Indeed when checking my list of users under EasyDiscus or Joomla I do not have such a 679 userID .. the last one that was created was yours (stackideas) with userID 678

Can you please explain me why I now get this warning message and how I could get rid of it ?

I have also noted that if I run the Cron script manually directly from my browser, I now get an error message I was not getting before that says:
Email batch process finished.
Connection à : avaries@dupont-sailing.info
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JUtility::sendMail() in /home/dsclub/public_html/components/com_easydiscuss/classes/mailqueue.php on line 516

That was my fault Because i have created a new user (stackideas2 - ID679), after i tested post completed then i delete this user from your user manager, then i forget delete my test post, mean when you load your easydiscuss frontpage layout , the system couldn't find this discussion post author in your site, so it show that error.

I have help you deleted my test post, the error message was disappeared now.

Don't be worries of this error message because it doesn't harm your site, when you have the email come in, the cronjob will automatically help you process and fetch the email in your easydiscuss frontpage layout.

More critical, and I had not tested it recently since I was focusing only on the automatic posting via email, but the normal posting via the web interface is not working anymore... I do not get any error message but the new posts are not visible on the web site and do not appear as new post either in the backend.

Can you please review that aspect please

I have another question: when posts are created automatically via the cron script after reception of an email, the post is not showing the email address of the person who sent the message but in place simply indicate "guest" as the author of the new post ... is it possible to capture the email of the sender and to display it in the newly created post ?

Can you try again and see the error message is it still persists? Because i have tried to post via email as guest (arlexwong), but the discussion post also show in my email name and email address, am i missing something step here?

Also, I have help set the cronjob time interval to process every 5 minute send 20 email. It works if let it automatically process the cron command.

I can only create new posts by sending emails but not anymore by using easydiscuss from my website.

Are you still able to create new posting using the web application? If so how do you do it because personally it is not working anymore

Actually that was known issues when you submit a question in zinc theme, can you update to latest version of Easydiscuss? It should be fixed it.
