Hello Esteban,

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Did you contact your webhoster to confirm the wget path? If not please try to change the command wget path from

/bin/wget

to

/usr/bin/wget

If this does not work please contact your webhoster to get the correct wget path. Ig you are sure of the wget path, please send me your cPanel access so that i can check out your cronjob. Please advice.

Thanks!

Hi we talked to the host as we explained on the ticket, the path is correct but it only fetches new data when accessing the address, if you don't access the address it won't fetch anything

Hello Esteban,

The settings for your cronjob is actually correct and there's no issue with it actually. You need to ask your hosting provider how to obtain the result of the cronjob everytime it executes so that it sends you an email and so that you can see the result.

I sent you two screenshots attached with the operations of the cronjob which is working. Do you want access to the cpanel to solve the problem?

Hello Esteban,

Hm, that's actually correct. I am not too sure what is going on there. Do you have SSH access to the server?

Hello Esteban,

Are you able to access the server's SSH? If so, how are you connecting to it currently?

I have made some changes on your cronjob but I am not sure if that works. Check your cron email and see the result.

This is the problem,

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailshell: /bin/wget: No such file or directory

You need to ask your hosting provider how to access wget. Paste this error message to them

I have done that and they seem to be ignoring my live chat as all I see is this, http://screencast.com/t/AU9c9ZO6IhS . I strongly advise you to start looking for a different hosting provider.

Okay, you really should consider moving away from your hosting company, not only they are bad, they don't even know what are they doing http://screencast.com/t/pCntVjuy . Sorry, but I really can't help any further.

May I also suggest that you move your hosting account to Cloudaccess.net or siteground.com ? That hosting company that you are hosted on is pretty bad You can get deals from our partner hostings, http://stackideas.com/partners

Hello Esteban,

I have explained numerous times why the cronjob is not working above and the only way to fix this is either to get your hosting provider to get the absolute working path for wget or move to a different provider.

As for the issues with creating new feeds, download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easyblog/controllers/

FYI... anyone working with bluehost, I figured out that you just need to put the /usr/ before bin to get it to work:

/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "http://yourwebsite.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog&task=cron";
