These errors are often caused by firewalls by your server / web host which prevents php scripts from connecting to itself or the login credentials for the email is incorrect.

Do you have the URL to the webmail? Also, can you please contact your hosting provider / server admin to ensure that there are no such firewall rules?

P/S: I strongly recommend users to use imap over pop3. If you do have imap, use imap instead.

I have IMAP enabled and tried both IMAP and POP3 .. i am getting sane error.

There are no hosting firewalls at my new hosting provider.. i will ask them still.

This error ... does this mean CRON failed or did it go thru and there are errors..

This error means that it isn't "parsing remote emails" as it was unable to connect to the mail server. Can you please let me know what your hosting provider says?

Also, I would need the webmail url to test if the login of the email works.
