When I go to Profile Types -> Access should there now be a Groups tab on the left since I am now using EasySocial 1.2.1

I figured this must be the setting you are referring to. I actually want anybody to be able to create groups but want to know how to do this just in case.

Also, I was thinking that I would find a place to create groups but so far that has eluded me.

Thank you, Sean Carney

When you click on Access, you should see Comments, Conversations. Friends and then Groups listed.

then to create a group

When I go to Access I see the following tabs:
Comments
Conversations
Friends
General
Photos
Stream

But... no Groups. Something obviously went wrong with my upgrade.

Actually I was NOT able to upgrade from within EasySocial by clicking on the Outdated button. So, I installed a fresh version of 1.2.1 that I downloaded from within the Extension Manager.

I do have EasySocial kv1.2.1 showingt above the dashboard but no Groups! :-(

Hello Sean,

It's easy all you need to do is to access the "Access" area at the back end of EasySocial, and click on the discover link on the left sidebar. Then, run a discovery

Thank you Mark,

I did what you said and saw that seven rules were discovered. To be honest I have no idea what the means or does for my site but it looks like it is something I should be doing on a regular basis? for some reason?

Thanks, Sean

Hello Sean,

It should be done auto-magically for you when you install EasySocial but perhaps you upgraded from another beta maybe?

Thanks Mark,

I have not installed any Beta Versions of EasySocial on this site as far as I know. I have been being very cautious here. :-)

Hm, very odd but anyway we'll keep an eye on this in case anyone else faces similar problems.
