If you create a tab block, and then insert columns and try and add a third column, it bugs out and calls the columns tabs and you dont get the size adjustments for the columns. If you save the draft and reload the page, it fixes itself.
Hello Chris,

Many of these editors uses non visible characters and there is no way for us to really see this (which *****, I know!) We are using redactor for the built in composer and unfortunately there is really nothing we could do if the source content was already messed up (Especially when you are copy / pasting from Word) as Word is a proprietary app and it does use proprietary code that nobody really knows how to properly decode and strip.

Hello Chris,

I have just tested this locally but can't seem to reproduce this issue. It seems like perhaps your columns have exceeded 12 columns? This is what I have tried (without any page refresh) on Firefox, http://take.ms/mzJZsY

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the screencast above, however I'm still unable to reproduce this issue with create a mutiple tab and insert column in a tab.

Seems like this is an isolated issue, is it always happened in your end once you insert column in a tab block?

I can't replicate it in a new post, but it was doing it in the same post that was timing out (after 90 sec)

https://stackideas.com/forums/preview-and-save-draft-fails-possible-script-server-loop

Possibly there is something wrong when a certain number of elements / blocks are created?

Hello Chris,

I believe this could be some "dirty" html that is hidden which could be caused by "backspaces" or "copy / pasting". I doubt that this has any relations to the other post as the other post is related to a bug in Joomla 3.7

Perhaps you could try deleting that block and try adding it again?

I was able to get around it by refreshing the page, but it was all copy pasted from word. There are lots of times it does weird things, but normally I can see it.

It was most probably be that, is there any way to see the html inside a text block ? or see special characters or something? I assume theres no "paste as unformatted text" option in this or if thats even possible on the web.
