I read in a past news release that as of Easyblog 3.8, EB is now responsive. I just taught a class today on how to use EB and 2 people brought iPads. They could do most of what they wanted but, when they clicked the icon in the toolbar, nothing happens. If you click and hold it, you get a popup on the iPad that resembles a right click (see screenshot).

The question is, is EB really responsive and can you author from a mobile device like an iPad?
Hello Eric Caldwell,

Yes, that was responsive of Easyblog in handheld device. Can you try update to latest version of Easyblog and see the issues is it still persists?

If yes, is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Yeah, the Chrome and other browser based emulators won't work. You need to be on an actual iPad. Use this emulator and you'll see what I'm talking about.

http://www.browserstack.com

You can get a free timed account. Just fire up the iPad and try to add a blog.

Hello Eric Caldwell ,

Sorry for late reply to this,
That great Thanks for your advise, that was very helpful to us to reproduce this without the handheld device in my hand.
I have double check in my Ipad 2 device and emulator, it seems like when i change to Joomla default template, then the button can click-able, try consult this with your template provider and see how it goes.

I did and the Rockettheme team says that if the rest of the site is working (which it is) then then issue has to be with EB, not the theme.. which is what I thought was what they were going to say

I have checked in your site again, it seems like this plugin "System - RokBox" causing the button not able to clickable. I have help you temporary disabled this plugin from your backend, can you try again in Ipad device?

If you can clickable that toolbar button, can you consult with your template provider regarding this again and see is it got any better solution for this? Please advise.

That did the trick Never use Rokbox anyway. It just comes as one of their auto-installed plugins when you load a theme. Thanks for finding that!
