Regarding for your issue i've have check maybe you template have overide in easy social theme because i've try to change to dark theme but still you template show wireframe theme, You can try to download basic site theme like protostar-default to check this overide if ok you have to consult with you site template.

Actually, events do appear under the Event tab in the horizontal menu, so I am not sure what you have checked before.

Is there a way to have an alert, every time admin creates an event?

Now , its really confusing.

There are 2 events: horizontal bar and the one on the left. When I click one which is horizontal - I can see events created by admin.

BUT The vertical one says there are no events?

I just dont understand it.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've checked your site and it seems like you have disabled "event applications" for users from your backend > easysocial > applications > event - user, http://screencast.com/t/z8j4Duj6 hence the stream or any other related activity will not get processed. I've enabled back the applications and the stream is showing correctly now on user's dashboard.

Please have a look.
