Create new user

Hi

I'm trying to add a new User under Authors.
I'm using the same credentials as in Joomla, but I always get: "ERROR username already exist".

I've no problems with my username (when logged in I'm the superadmin), as I found it already under Authors, but trying to add another user seems tricky. Of course the user already exist, I'm just using Joomla users (as me).

Can you please clarify.

Hi there,

Currently, you does not need to add those users currently as Easyblog will use Joomla for users access(login and etc). That why you will hit those warning.

Those existing users will shown on backend's authors sections once they have created one blog post on your site. Please give it a try and see how it goes.

If problem still persisted, is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Please advice.
