Hi Mark,
sorry to trouble you again.

After you had helped me yesterday, everything runs fine except for one thing:

When I try to create a new blog entry using the "full Editor" (not the quick mode with the Flash Symbol - this works fine) I get a blank page.
But: This only happens from a mobile device (tablet or mobile phone).
I suspect there is a clash with the "Responsivizer" component I am using for mobile pages.
I have tried different settings in the resposivizer component but this didn´t make a change.

It would be great if you could help me get this working as our primary Goal is to be able to create blog entries from using mobile devices (from swim meets or training camps).

Thank you ver much for your effort
Arnd
To replicate the problem:

- use a mobile device
- go to the Website
- Menu: Berichte->Blogtest (menu item on the bottom)
- log into easy blog
- create new blog using Flash Symbol >works!
- create new blog using "full mode" -> blank page

Hey Arnd,

Yep, it looks like Responsivizr is causing the component output to not get displayed I can't seem to patch the plugin to not load their template on mobile devices

Hi Mark,
thank you for looking into it.
Maybe I can find a way to disable their template just for the blog from within their component settings.
I will give it some more thought.

Thanks,
Arnd

Hey Arnd,

Sure, it could be easily fixed if you can check the tmpl=component in the query string since EasyBlog's composer is using tmpl=component in the query string.

Hi Mark,

please let me see if I get this right (I am no Joomla expert):

tmpl=component points to the component.php in the template root Directory.
As the problem only arises with the mobile template i should be looking at the component.php of the mobile template.
Then I could try to rename this component.php and copy the component.php of my regular template (which obviously doe´snt conflict with Easy blog) in the mobile template Directory.

Is this what you had in mind when pointing out the tmpl=component parameter in the query string?

Thanks,

Arnd

Hey Arnd,

What I actually have in mind (perhaps you can try contacting the author of the plugin) is to not load the mobile template when it detects "tmpl=component" in the query string.

I am not too sure how the mobile template is being activated but I tried to modify the system plugin, doesn't seem to have any effects
