Create Joomla Content & Blog Post

I want to create an article in addition to the blog post. I have an existing article category from the old site I called "Blog Posts", but I can not figure out how to integrate that into Easy Blog so it can create an article under this existing category & a blog post under a blog category for my blogs. I went to the documentation and found this article (How to Create Category As Page Content Separated From EasyBlog) in the "How to" tab, but was not sure if this will do what I want to.

I must note that my old site is using EasyBlog 3 under J1.5 and the new site is using the most recent version of EasyBlog with J3.x

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Currently we do not have this such feature auto create article into Easyblog when you published an article from Joomla.

But you can try to use migrator from backend > Easyblog > migrator > Joomla Article > select which Joomla article category you would like to migrate into Easyblog.

Hi Arlex,

Actually I want to create an article from a Blog Post. The EasyBlog 3 version does this automatically.

Hey Tim,

Do you mean you would like to create an article from Easyblog then it will auto create into Joomla article?

If yes, you have to enable this plugin "EasyBlog - Auto Article" and configure inside the setting from backend plugin section.
