It's simply because you can't see the folders when you are uploading photos. In the media browser, you will be able to see the folders on the left. Allowing create folder on the upload screen is confusing because you won't know if you have already created the folder or not.

hello mark, i unterstand your point..hmm..but i think it's also confusing if a user after upload see, that in media browser he is able to create folders but not able to move his just uploaded imiages into them!?

there are 2 ways to fix that confusing:

1. users are able to see in uploading photo there already created folders and additional a create folder button if they already created folders before.

or

2. users are able to move in media browser just uploaded images into new created folders.

what do you think?

Sorry but we do not have plans to allow users to create folders through the uploading screen. We just feel that this is too confusing for the users.

ok then you should think about a other solution for next Releases..ore make it optional..because the current upload method is also confusing! we should create a Poll or uservoice to ask other Customer about folder Managment in EB Upload

We'll consider this but I won't guarantee that there would be a solution to this on 4.0 as we have tons of other improvements to add.
