Hello,
As far as I can see, I have the permissions set correctly and group members should be able to create new events within that group. However the button only appears if I'm logged in with my super user account. If I test it with an account that belongs to one of the ES profile types, I don't see that button, even if I'm the admin of that group.
Thanks for looking into it,
Michael
Hello Michael,

It looks like the "Create Event" custom field isn't added for the group category. Hence, you weren't able to set which type of group members are allowed to create events. I have added the missing "Create Event" field into the group and you will be able to see a new field now when you edit your group.

When you edit your group now, you should see this field, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-29_0138.png which determines which type of group members are allowed to create events.

Just for your information, this was what it looks like when I was editing the fields for the "Expeditions" group category, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-29_0137.png

Hi Mark,
Ah yes I thought I was missing something in the configuration. But I'm never one to complain about too many options. Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best,
Michael
