I've created cover photo's for my groups for my site in abode illustrator but when i upload them they're not as crisp. They lose clarity and look a little blurry, Why is this? I saved them for the web as a .png24 file. I've just renewed my subscriptions but I can't update any newer versions so I don't know if this issue has been addressed. I'm currently using 1.3.1
Hello Antonio,

I just tested this on your site and the cover quality is actually pretty fine and I don't really see any quality drop here. Take a look at my screen shot here for comparison. One of the image is from the site while the other is the original image source that is previewed on my local computer, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-23_1157.png

Hello Antonio,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have fixed your account and you should be able to access the downloads now. As for the cover photo, it actually gets resized and the photo quality is based on the settings under Settings > Photos

Hi Mark
I had it set at 100%-very high.... Will lowering this setting help the quality? I thought 100%-very high was for the best quality.....

Hello Antonio,

If it's already 100%, the quality should already be pretty sharp but you will still lose some quality when it goes through GD but it's not really notice-able. How bad is the quality currently?

I think it gets pretty bad but I'm a perfectionist like you guys:p Here's the screen shots of it in illustrator and on my site. The wording gets blurry and i don't understand why, it's a eps file before I convert it to a .png24 for the web. Even after I convert it it still looks pretty good until I upload it onto my site. Do you think I need to change the size of which I'm creating it at? I think you can see the pixel size on the screen shot in illustrator.

Hello Antonio,

Can you please upload the image that you are trying to upload here? I will test this on your site. Also, please include the back end and FTP access to the site.

Ok thanks Mark
I'm confused because the cover photo looks good in the newsfeed but doesn't in the actual cover photo area. I know its bigger in the cover photo area, is there a way to have it keep the same quality as it looks in the newsfeed? I've included a screen shot of the cover photo and the newsfeed photo you should be able to see the difference.

Your right and it had me for a lost but..... I found the problem If I shrink my screen it looks fine, if I widen my screen then I have a problem, the bigger I have my screen it starts to lose clarity and starts to look blurry. I know you guys are extremely busy with EB5 and ES1.4 but this is something you guys should look into because that's definitely the issue.

Hello Antonio,

This really isn't an issue with EasySocial at all since your original image size is only 940 px * 350 px. If your screen resolution is any larger, the image would then be stretched.

Ok so what size should I create my original cover photo so it doesn't stretch and become blurry?
