Hello dear Stackideas team,

Was there not even a standart cover photo?

And another question.

What resolution do you want for the cover photos?

Small improvement suggestion

It would be great if you could use 2 pictures as cover picture. So 1 for Mobile / Tablet and 1 for the desktop view.

The image could then better align itself and it saves on mobile use bandwidth.

Best regards
You're welcome.

You can follow our documentation here how to set the default user cover from your template directory file.

https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/templating/overriding-default-cover

Hope this will help.

Do you mean our default login cover image? If no, you can actually put any of image into the login cover section, but i would suggest that if you would like to choose those high resolution image, you have to make sure that image size is smaller so that it will not take more time to load that image on your page.

What resolution do you want for the cover photos?

It actually up to you which resolution image you would like to put, what i suggest is if the image resolution more than 3000px, it would be nicely when you display that cover on the login page.

By the way, thanks for your suggestion, currently it will load the image like what you uploaded it from backend.

Perhaps I can switch this thread to "Easysocial - feature request" category section, so we will see if there a lot of user also request this, if yes, we will definitely implement this in the future version.

Thank you for your quick response.

But I did not mean the login image. But the user-cover picture.

If my users do not use an image, the area is simply black. This does not look so nice. Therefore the question whether there is not a standard image, if the user has no own.

I have attached the picture again.

Best regards

Oh okay, thanks fine

Is there still a recommended image size? So that it looks mobile and on the desktop beautiful?

Best regards

You're welcome.

Actually that is no any recommended for the image size, because it depend on the image itself whether this image quality is it good enough.

By the way, I just realised your server have enabled pagespeed, i believe this pagespeed will do some optimise your site image. so it will load faster on your site.
