Hi

Within each group in my site, there are a lot of file folders each containing varying numbers of files

If I click on a file folder in the file app, it doesn't load the files for that collection (although it sometimes shows the rows with no information

In Chrome console, there is a JS error

Could not locate file group element for folder id undefined.

The other issue is that when files are being uploaded in the app file manager, there doesn't seem to be any sort of progress indicator so the person uploading has no idea that anything is happening?

Many thanks for help
Hello Mark,

Can I upgrade EasySocial for your site to the latest version first?

Hi Arlex

Thank you once again for the fantastic support

That has fixed the files not showing issue

With the Ajax progress indicator, at the moment that is showing all the time even when nothing is happening - is it possible that there could just be a progress indicator while new files are being uploaded so the user knows that something is still happening

One other quick question (sorry if it should be a new thread)

Where can I change the max file upload size - showing 8mb at the moment but PHP file is set to 200mb

Thank you so much

Mark

Hello Mark,

Sorry for late reply to this,
You're welcome, can you provide the screenshot and show us which part are you mentioned?
Because I have tested in your site and view the group, it seems like the load indicator is work fine now.

It okay Regarding this "Where can I change the max file upload size - showing 8mb at the moment but PHP file is set to 200mb"
You can consult with your Webhosting provider to help you increase for you, because some of the Webhosting provider will not give the permission to edit by other user. Hope this help.

Hi Arlex

Many thanks for your reply, sorry for the delay in getting back to you

I've attached three screenshots
'maxphp' shows the max upload size (998mb) as per PHP settings ( I run my own servers so set the limit directly)
'easyvalue' - shows the Easysocial uploader which shows a max of 8mb ?

'progress' shows the Ajax progress indicator - this starts as soon as the file manager app loads and doesn't stop regardless of whether the file io operation has completed.

Need that to disappear when an activity such as uploading files or selecting a folder has completed?

Many thanks once again for your excellent support

Mark

Hello Mark,

The upload limit is actually defined in the group's access limit. You can define a custom access limit for each group category and any groups created within the category will inherit this limits. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/aH9rn3nToAJ
