Hello Greetings

I have purchased and installed the Easyblog extension on the site that I have added with the support extension. There was no error while installation and none was found as far as I was working on the admin panel but when I tried to provide feature to the users to add posts using the front-end I found something strange.

Initially I was not able to select the template as the control kept on stopping there. It was not going to the next step.So I unpublished all the templates except one so I can bypass the step. So now I was able to write a post but as soon as I tried to post it; the control halted and I saw bunch of errors in the console.

The post was not getting published; I tried multiple times.
Hi Chriss,

Seems like the jquery easy plugin caused the composer not load properly. I've exclude easyblog composer scripts to be minified by this plugin : https://www.screencast.com/t/v1mqYkTu
and I'm now able to create/publish post in the front end.
Can you give it another try?

Hello Muhammad

Thanks for the help. Yes the blog is now being posted but there are still some features that are not working, For example the Sign-out feature on the settings button on the front-end. It has a javascript:void() link and it does not seem to work. So can you please look into that as well.

Also I request you to check the whole Easyblog process once so that we don't face any issue at some later stages when we have already populated data to the blog.

I will be waiting to hear back from you.

Thanks,
Chris

It seems like you provided that login credentials no longer working, can you update your correct Joomla backend access and FTP access at your first post so we can better have a check?

Hello Chris,

I tried to access your site and upon logging in I don't seem to see any "settings" icon. Have you removed it? By the way, I did noticed that there are some styling conflicts on your site and you can add the css codes below into your template's css file to fix it,

[gist]
#eb .eb-navbar__footer .eb-navbar__footer-submenu > li:before {
content: none;
}
[/gist]

Hello Mark

I think you are referring to the settings on the front-end and yes I have hidden those as we don't want to give any user those features.

I have added the css that you have provided but I am still concerned about the functionalities of the Easyblog working properly.

I will let you know if I face any new issues. The last issue I have faced was Sign out function was not working. The link appear on Easyblog navigation.

Thanks

Perhaps you can share some screenshot to us which sign out link you referring? Because i didn't see any sign out link on your site.

Sure I will provide those. But for now I am having another issue. I am not able to add a post from the front-end. When I click on the
Add your post icon after logging-in using the drop-down on blog page,I can not pass through the step where we need to select the template.

I am just stuck there. I did face the same issue earlier but it was resolved but now I am facing it again. Only thing I changed is the Easyblog template; may be that is the issue.

Can you please look into it asap as people are waiting to start posting to the blog.

Thanks
