Converting from MyBlog to Easy Blog

Hi.

I had MyBlog and now I change to EasyBlog. I order the one for Joomla 2.5 which will be my version, but I need to transfer myBlog from Joomla 1.5 site.
I installed EasyBlog on Joomla 1.5 but it was version 3.5.11787. I am trying to update to the latest available version: 3.9.15110, but I am constantly getting an error when I try to upgrate that my API key is not a valid - Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html ...
How I can update to the latest version before I migrate EasyBlog to Joomla 2.5?

Hello Adrian.

Sorry for the late reply. EasyBlog 3.9 and above does not support Joomla 1.5. You will have to migrate the blog on either EasyBlog 3.5 or EasyBlog 3.8. You can get the older versions here http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/easyblog Then after migrating it you can just export the tables for EasyBlog (jos_easyblog_xxxx) to the Joomla 2.5 site. After that install EasyBlog 3.9 on your Joomla 2.5 site. Hope this helps.
